How to remove wall anchors and patch hole with spackle

REMOVING WALL ANCHORS AND PATCHING HOLES | TIPS AND TRICKS

Posted on March 16, 2023March 16, 2023 by Megan

Time to patch those pesky holes? Smooth walls or textured walls- I’ve got you covered! (Heh, see what I did there?)

Supplies

  • Any spackle product will do. I used this Patch-N-Paint from Home Depot.
  • Plastic scraper, credit card, small drywall knfe- anything with a sharp edge (this is for smooth walls only)
  • Nitrile gloves (to mimic texture on textured walls)
  • Fine grit sand paper
  • Matching wall paint (You can color match or take a flake of paint from the area around where you’re going to patch. They can usually color match at the paint center of any home improvement/paint store.)
